Adam F5
The brand new F series: The ART of Affordability
Consisting of two nearfield monitors and a dedicated subwoofer, the F Series is designed in the tradition of the legendary ADAM professional monitors. The aim is to focus on the essence of ADAM speakers at a new, lower price point.
The F5 and F7 near field monitors feature a newly designed version of the ADAM proprietary Accelerating Ribbon Technology. These tweeters reproduce the high frequencies with the very airiness, clarity, and detail ADAM is famous for. The high performance woofers are designed to seamlessly integrate with the tweeters performance.
Wherever deeper and more powerful bass response is required, the SubF subwoofer comes into play. It has been specifically designed to match the F monitors and will perfectly complement them in any set up.
The speaker The F5 is the smaller of the near field monitors in the brand new F-series and has been designed for listening environments with somewhat limited space.
Tweeter The F models feature a newly designed version of ADAM’s highly acclaimed X-ART tweeter. Slightly smaller than the X-ART tweeter of the AX-series, it is the next step in this continuous evolution in tweeter design.
Midwoofer As the name suggests, the F5 sports a 5” woofer made from glas fibre and paper and a 25mm voice coil. Despite the size of both the woofer as well as the cabinet, the F5 is capable of an astounding deep yet tight bass response.
Controls Several controls to adjust the monitors to the environment are located on the rear panel: two room EQ’s for both the high (>5kHz) and the low (<300Hz) frequencies as well as a volume knob (-∞ to +6dB).

Focusrite Forte Portable USB Audio Interface
Forte - a new breed of USB audio interface Focusrite Forte is a professional 2 in, 4 out portable USB audio interface for Mac and Windows, designed to deliver analogue sources to your DAW at the highest possible quality. It features two remote-controlled mic preamps with the unrivalled sound quality you would expect from Focusrite. Forte partners these with superb digital conversion at up to 24-bit/192kHz resolution. Built into a solid aluminium case, Forte features a colour OLED display, touch controls and a single large control knob for intuitive operation, with DAW integration transforming it into a control interface.
Part of our history of audio excellence… Forte takes its name from the original Focusrite console that embodied all the fundamental elements of the renowned Focusrite sound. Focusrite’s original Forté was the recording console based on the ground-breaking mic pre and compression modules that Rupert Neve created for Air Studios back in the 1980s. Designed to offer the very highest audio path quality irrespective of cost, the Forté console set the benchmarks for mic preamplifiers and dynamic control and that remain unequalled today. The Forte USB audio interface continues this obsession with sound quality...
The ultimate USB audio interface for Mac and PC Forte has been designed specifically to provide a compact, rugged and effective input path to your computer with the maximum possible audio quality for mic, line and instrument sources. In particular, Forte delivers class-leading dynamic range and noise floor – both highly significant in today’s world of an almost unlimited number of tracks making up a mix – and class-leading conversion performance, ensuring you get the very best quality sound at all times. Focusrite usb audio intreface with mic presTwo Focusrite mic-pres and world-class conversion
Featuring two of the latest design of Focusrite's remote-controlled microphone preamplifiers, the Forte USB audio interface connects to both Mac and Windows computers via USB 2.0. It incorporates highest-quality precision 24-bit A-D and D-A converters operating at sample rates up to 192kHz, and the conversion stages have had maximum attention paid to both analogue and digital design to deliver the best possible performance.
The DAW control interface Forte includes a colour OLED (Organic LED) display to indicate mic, line in, line out and headphone levels, gain structure and other functionality. It features a single, large, smoothly-rotating control knob operated in conjunction with a series of touch-sensitive icons to access preamplifier and output functions – input, monitor, headphone, and control – plus the ability to control DAW functions and act as a remote control for your music software. Included with the unit is Forte Control software application, which allows the configuration of low-latency monitoring, mic pre level adjustment and other features.
A USB audio interface for MAC Particular attention has been paid to ergonomic design. A breakout cable with locking connector is used for microphone (XLR) and line/instrument (TRS) inputs, but balanced line and independent headphone outputs are provided on the unit itself, so the breakout cable is not required for playback-only applications. In addition, the fact that the mic and line-level inputs on the breakout cable are separate means that you can keep your inputs connected all the time without having to re-patch when you go from one to the other. Forte can run on bus power in "USB low-power mode" but an included power supply increases the available volume to headphones/line outputs and delivers +48V phantom power to your microphone.
The Midnight plug-in suit The classic Focusrite Midnight plugin suite is also included in the box, accurately modelling the classic ISA110 EQ and ISA130 compressor from the original Focusrite Forté console.

Key Features
Two Focusrite remote-controlled microphone preamps Forte features Focusrite’s latest preamplifier design, they ensure the very highest audio quality from your source.
Ultra-high quality A-D and D-A conversion at up to 24-bit/192kHz resolution Precision conversion ensures that the entire path from analogue input to your recording system – and back again – is of the highest quality. Focusrite has built its reputation on the quality of its input stages, but its converter designs are equally class leaders: the result is superb end-to-end quality and performance.
Includes power supply - can also be bus powered in "USB low power" mode Forte can be bus powered retaining all functionality and full input performance. However, an included power supply increases the available output volume to headphones/line outputs and delivers +48V phantom power to your microphone.
Mac and Windows compatible Focusrite recognises that there is more than one operating system in the audio world. Forte is fully compatible with both Windows and Mac. In both cases, Forte integrates extensively with the OS for simple and familiar operation.
Premium aluminium enclosure Forte is built into a solid aluminium enclosure, making it elegant, rugged and reliable for life on the road – or in the studio.
Built-in outputs / breakout cable delivers inputs TRS line and independent headphone outputs are mounted on the body, so you don’t need the breakout cable for playback. Keep your XLR mic and TRS balanced line/instrument sources permanently connected to the included locking breakout cable, and select between them in software, without having to re-patch.
Touch-sensitive buttons: large control knob Touch-sensitive icons switch the multi-mode control knob between monitor, headphone, input and DAW control, while the knob allows smooth, instant and intuitive access to settings and adjustments
Colour OLED (Organic LED) metering/display Instantly check levels and see which function the control knob is assigned to with the clear, bright colour display
